A MEETING WAS HELD WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF FRANKLIN TEMPLETON COMPANY AT "REGIONAL ELECTRIC NETWORKS" JSC

At the meeting, company representatives were first informed about the implementation of modern corporate governance mechanisms and the progress of transformation processes at "Regional Electric Networks" JSC based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 27, 2024 "On the establishment of the National Investment Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

It should be noted that Franklin Templeton company is the manager of the National Investment Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and based on this resolution, "Regional Electric Networks" JSC currently has a 40 percent share to form the charter capital of this fund.

Additionally, during the meeting, issues of activating transformation processes in investment assets at the next stage of cooperation, including the implementation of technological systems aimed at improving the company's efficiency and transparency, as well as the work being carried out to place Fund shares on Tashkent and international stock exchanges, including the London Stock Exchange, were discussed.
