JOINT STOCK COMPANY "REGIONAL ELECTRIC NETWORKS"

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4249 dated March 27, 2019 "On the strategy for further development and reform of the electric power industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the joint stock company "Regional Electric Networks" was established, the main functions of which are to manage regional electric network enterprises that distribute and sell electricity to end consumers.

The structure of JSC "Regional Electric Networks" includes 12 regional branches and 2 regional (territorial) electric network enterprises (JSC "Bukhara RENE" and JSC "Fergana RENE"), which operate 0.4-6-10-35-110 kV electric networks, as well as within the framework of their development, new construction, reconstruction, capital and current repairs, as well as 3 branches (Branch "Center for Automation of Electric Energy Sales", Branch "Regional Construction and Installation Directorate", Branch "State Procurement Center").

The 12 regional branches and 2 regional (territorial) electric network enterprises (JSC "Bukhara RENE" and JSC "Fergana RENE") and their 211 district and city power supply enterprises, which include 1,839 substations of 110-35-10 kV voltage, supply electricity through 97,003 transformer points and 293.2 thousand km of power transmission networks to household and legal consumers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As of January 1, 2025, the total number of electricity consumers in the Republic of Uzbekistan is 8,301,831:

legal consumers - 464,691;

household consumers (population) - 7,837,140 people

Currently, under the control of JSC "Regional Electric Networks" as of January 1, 2025:

TOTAL 04-110 KV POWER TRANSMISSION LINES - 293,162.4 km;

of which,

• 110 kV - 16,739.1 km;

• 35 kV - 15,382.5 km;

• 10 kV - 88,773.1 km;

• 6 kV - 14,863.3 km;

• 0.4 kV - 157,404.3 km.

TOTAL TRANSFORMER POINTS - 97,003 units

of which,

• up to 10/0.4 kV - 79,106 units;

• 6/0.4-160 kV - 17,897 units.

TOTAL NUMBER OF SUBSTATIONS - 1,839,

of which,

• 110 kV - 737;

• 35 kV - 1,102;

Work carried out by the Company in 2024

In 2024, JSC "Regional Electric Networks" delivered 64.8 billion kWh (useful transmission) of electricity. The growth rate compared to the corresponding period of 2023 increased to 101.4%.

During 2024, in order to ensure the stability of electricity supply, electric networks with a length of 0.4-110 kV - 29,496 km and 10,221 transformer points were perfectly repaired. In addition, 100 power transformers were completely repaired at 35-110 kV substations.

Electric networks 0.4-6-10 kV - 6,759 km long and 2,629 transformer points were updated. In addition, 178 km of 35-110 kV power transmission lines, 21 substations were newly built and 99 substations were modernized. Of these:

1. "New Uzbekistan" substation in Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city

2. "Ghazghon" substation in Ghazghon city of Navoiy region

3. New substation for "Jizzakh" FEZ in Sh.Rashidov district of Jizzakh region

4. New substation for "Urgut" FEZ in Samarkand city of Samarkand region

5. New substation for "Tashkent Pharma Park" cluster LLC in Zangiota district of Tashkent region.

In 2024, 141,945 reinforced concrete poles and more than 152,220 traverse products were produced.

A total of 8,041,081 electronic meters have been installed for consumers
